Zoom states it has fixed an hours-long outage.The video calling giant said just before 9 a. m. E T that it “received statement of users being not able to visit the Zoom Main website (zoom.us) and unable to get tune on the that time and join Zoom Meetings and Training calls. ”
“We have discovered the concern triggering users to struggle to authenticate to the Zoom website and unable to get started on and join Zoom Meetings and Training calls, and are working on a fix for this concern, ” according to Zoom’s status web page.
By early mid-day trading on the Nasdaq, Zoom was down more than 2%.
Zoom said the issue was fixed just after 1 p. m. ET.
Not everyone was get issues by the outage. Several users reported that their Zoom calls were working. Other people said they can not get into their usually planned Zoom meetings.
Since the company’s massive surge in users, thanks a lot to everyone working at home during the outbreak, Zoom has stated some 300 million daily meeting individuals.
Zoom didn’t immediately discuss the cause of today’s outage, but a spokesperson apologized for the downtime.
Updated at 11: 00 a. m. ET with details of a fix started out and again at 1: 15 p. m. ET after a solution was found.
